Large, Culturally Diverse Etobicoke neighbourhood - Home to a wide variety of treasures
With a higher percentage of retirees and older households, Richview is an urban, upscale, and diverse neighbourhood. The area is engulfed in parks and greenspace - such as Alex Marchetti park and Valleyfield. Many are equipped with trails for hiking and play structures for children.
As in many other Etobicoke communities, running errands in Richview requires a car most of the time. Bus services on Eglinton, Dixon, and Islington can take you to both subway lines and the Mississauga Transit System. If you drive, Hwy 401 and 27 are just along the edge. Surprisingly, Richview is a biker’s paradise. Flat, with designated bike lanes, it has a Bike Score of 92.
Richview has an abundance of schools from both public and Catholic systems, ranging from primary to secondary. Some of the city’s major hospitals are also close by, including Humber River Hospital and Etobicoke General Hospital.
